Ms. Velissaropoulos focuses her practice in civil litigation, with an emphasis on insurance defense, including work on numerous construction defect and general liability claims.
With over seventeen years experience in the insurance industry, Ms. Velissaropoulos has worked closely with carriers and clients in a variety of settings. Both in solo practice and as a partner in a full service law firm, Ms. Velissaropoulos has mastered the skill of zealously representing her clients, while being mindful of the economic impact of litigation.
Ms. Velissaropoulos has successfully represented clients in numerous bench trials, jury trials, hundreds of hearings, and prides herself on her exemplary ADR skills and ability to reach favorable settlements on behalf of her clients.
Ms. Velissaropoulos has successfully represented her clients in both State and Federal Courts. In addition to her active litigation practice, she also teaches as an adjunct professor and mentors law students.
